My wife and I would really like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your site.(shame about weather) superb layout and possibly the best toilet block we have ever used. Also a very good dog walking area. We were in transit this time but will come back for a proper visit soon. Many thanks R&B Burnside & Jess.

Hi, just had 5 days at your site and felt I had to say thank you, the site is a real credit to you all, this is without doubt the best site we have stayed on and look forward to our return.

Just had an amazing time at your wonderfull site, will definitely be back again but won’t be 5 years this time. Your wardens were perfect. knowledgeable. helpful but not intrusive. Facilities kept spotless as was the site. Our holiday was the best ever, mainly because of your site.
I’m not one for reviews but felt I had to say thanks directly to you….keep up the amazing work
With kind regards

Hi, we have just got home after a great weekend in the Peak District. We thought your camp site was top notch and will certainly be returning at some point.
Thank you very much.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to John who took pity on me for turning up on the wrong w’end for my booking, 1 week early! John allowed us to swap our booking which was much appreciated & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially as it was one of the hottest w’ends of the year. The campsite is small enough to be friendly & personal, but large enough to not make you feel cramped. Stunning views over rolling countryside, outstanding facilities & the bonus of the dog exercise area all contributed to an amazing stay. So much so that I’ve just booked again for August & will definitely turn up on the right w’end this time. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so pleasant.

If carlsberg did campsites……..We are seasoned campers but just upgraded to a caravan…. weather is appalling right now but the site is absolutely faultless!!!!
Very clean and tidy all over, secure dog area, amazing shower blocks, electric, water, tv, even wifi…. and it works!!!!
Caravan, awning, 2 dogs, £22 per night!!! Amazing value.
Great walks from the doorstep
Will definitely be back
From Buxton: Follow the signs for A6 Matlock and Derby. Once you have passed the junction with the A5270 on your right, you need to look for the next left turn. It’s a country lane which is concealed by trees, and is about 200 metres before the junction with the B6049. Turn left into the country lane, and you’ll come to the Caravan Park on the left. If you miss the concealed turning off the A6, take the B6049 instead. Then take the first left, drive up through the village, and you’ll come to the Caravan Park on the right.
From Bakewell: Follow the signs for A6 Buxton. After about 5 miles you’ll pass the Waterloo Hotel on the left. About one mile further on there are two right turns. First the B6049, and about 200 metres further the unclassified road you need to take. Drive down this lane and the Caravan Park is on the left.
